Pay Range: $ 8,000.00 - $10,000.00 monthly based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Train and develop accounting staff.
  • Enforce accounting processes and protect the business interests of the owners.
  • Prepare standard entries and record to ensure all accruals are accurate.
  • Ensure balance sheet adjustments are made to reflect actual inventory balances.
  • Prepare weekly, semimonthly, monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Review daily, weekly, monthly schedules for accuracy and completeness.
  • Update ledgers daily, weekly monthly to agree with the manufacturers' changes to financial statements.
  • Work with Department Managers to improve dealership processes ensuring that company policies and internal control measures are being followed.
  • Clean, book, bill and post all deals daily.
  • Prepare month, quarter, and annual federal and state required reports and taxes including VIT
  • Prepare extended warranty and credit electronic transfers and payments.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree from two or four-year college or university
  • Automotive experience required
  • General Motors franchise dealer experience preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Professional presentation
  • Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility.
  • Know and understand the Vanguard Privacy and Information Security Policies and adhere to the requirements.
