WHO WE WANT We are looking for someone to manage our Flagship retail store located in University Village. In this role, you will be responsible for the success and growth of our single brick and mortar location through ownership of end-to-end customer experience, ordering and inventory management, merchandising, staffing, and scheduling. As a running apparel brand, much of our customer experience is rooted in brand experience, and so this role will also require community marketing execution such as partnerships, running clubs/events, and similar activations. The ideal candidate will take a vested interest in the store as a business owner and will be a key partner in store P&L management.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

Lead Oiselle’s Flagship store location in University Village Be 5-star sales associate; this role is floor-shift focused Create an in-real-life manifestation of the Oiselle brand through all aspects of customer experience in the store Be responsible for the budget, revenue and profitability for the store Author plans and execution for all store operations, merchandising, customer experience, staffing, scheduling, etc. Implement store-level marketing with the support of the Retail & Wholesale Manager Set the tone and culture at the store, and manage floor staff to execute the day to day flawlessly Own and oversee TNFC (Thursday Night Flight Club Running Group), other store level programs, and brand partnerships to foster a strong local run community Support Oiselle’s offsite retail events – pop ups, warehouse and sample sales, etc. Utilize systems and software such as Shopify, DEAR, When I Work, Klayvio, and others Be SOP-driven and create and update processes for store staff such as onboarding, shift responsibilities, etc to make execution easy Work at least 40 hours per week, including floor shifts with occasional off-floor responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY ATTRIBUTES/EXPERIENCE:

Demonstrates strong communication skills. Can speak and write succinctly across a variety of communication channels and is able to adjust style appropriate to the intended audience. Possesses strong organizational and time management skills. Loves learning and building systems and processes for efficiency. Inspires trust and collaboration with others. Is an avid listener, brings a curious mind to projects and challenges. Is a proactive in nature and results-oriented. Detail-oriented workstyle, with emphasis on precision, accuracy, and follow-through. Comfortable working with multiple systems to process transactions while maintaining consistency in execution. Knowledge of web-based systems (Google Suite, Microsoft Office applications, Shopify, inventory management systems, and others). Has experience owning a sales channel or retail management end-to-end. 2-3 years of experience in apparel wholesale and/or retail management is mandatory. Experience working in running retail is a significant plus and passion for women’s running and apparel is important.

ROLE SPECIFICS & BENEFITS: This role is performed in a retail setting and will include frequent lifting of weight up to 50lbs, climbing a ladder (storage access), and frequent standing and walking to assist customers. Evening and weekend work will be required; this is a 40hr/wk role that should plan to be present for key sales events and times.

Full-time employment at Oiselle includes health benefits with premium 100% paid for employee, paid time off, and an employee discount for personal use. Compensation for this role is $50,000-$67,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
