Job Summary:

The Nursing Assistant III provides basic patient care under the direction of RN or LPN, performs clerical support duties, and supports telemetry functions by monitoring cardiac rhythms. This role also involves maintaining medical records, transcribing physician orders, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. The Nursing Assistant III must have a high school diploma or GED, completed a certified nursing assistant program, and hold Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. Excellent communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and computer proficiency are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general patient care within scope of practice
  • Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge
  • Communicate changes in patient status to licensed personnel
