Seeking a full-time Cardiology APRN/PA in Fort Myers, FL 33912 Escape to the pristine beaches in Southwest Florida! Are you ready to embark on a fulfilling medical career near captivating beaches? Millennium Physician Group is seeking a talented Advanced Provider to join our esteemed Cardiology Care medical team. * Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm (no weekends, no call schedule) * Access to benefits and 401K * Malpractice insurance coverage Responsibilities * Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examination, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination. * Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interprets test results for deviations from normal. * Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection. * Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care. * Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance. Required skills and qualifications * Degree from an accredited institution required * Valid license to practice as an APRN/PA in Florida * Proven experience in providing exceptional patient care and medical services * Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Analytical thinking skills with the ability to investigate and diagnose * English verbal and fluent English written required Preferred skills and qualifications * 2+ years' experience in cardiology care or equivalent combination of education and experience * Urgent Care and Emergency Room experience may be considered * CPR/BLS certifications preferred Millennium Physician Group is one of the largest comprehensive primary care practices with healthcare providers throughout Florida.
