The Nurse Practitioner performs comprehensive history and physical assessments on the general medical population in a variety of settings, which may include inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory and others.Using the interdisciplinary team process, completes a comprehensive H&P and contributes to the development of an integrated plan for the management of general medical patients, and communicates this plan to others involved in the care of the quality of patient care by utilizing established standards of care for general medical patients and coordination of services with physicians, care managers, social workers, patient care coordinators, therapists and other community agencies as appropriate. Education and TrainingMaster of Science Degree in NursingRegistered Nurse with current license to practice in the State of OhioCertificate of Authority, State of OhioNational Certification in Adult, Family or Acute CareCertificate to Prescribe, State of OhioBLS required, until ACLS obtained ExperienceMinimum 2 Years experience in nursing care relevant to medical patient population to include leadership/management experience with demonstrated success.Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and sensitively orally and in writing.Ability to analyze and use clinical outcome and aggregate expertise in patient to work independently, to prioritize work and solve problems
