job summary: The Search and Evaluation Department offers a summer internship program for full-time PhD students currently degrees relevant to neuroscience.The 10-week internship program will focus on learning the process by which R&D assesses new partnership opportunities and understanding key elements of drug development. The intern will be mentored by experienced scientists in the Search and Evaluation Department to analyze data, search out new opportunities in the landscape and interface with internal R&D and corporate development partners. The program fosters growth and development of its participants by providing networking opportunities, career development, and involvement in projects that make significant contributions to the Search and Evaluation Department.

per hour work hours: 8 to 4 education: Masters

responsibilities: The selected candidate will participate in several evaluations, where he or she will contribute to synthesizing and analyzing data provided by potential partners, coordinate cross-functional meetings to discuss data, and build an understanding of the competitive landscape The intern will also contribute to producing deliverables such as landscape and literature reviews as well as summary slide decks. The intern may participate in assigned department activities and initiatives related to the projects (i.e., attend and participate in cross functional meetings, presentations, trainings) To achieve assigned goals, the intern will collaborate with members of diligence and business development teams to meet assigned goals

qualifications: Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college/university pursuing a PhD degree relevant to oncology or to neuroscience Demonstrated ability to conduct independent desk research and data analysis under general supervision Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills (written and verbal)

skills: Data Analysis, MS-WORD, MS-EXCEL, MS-Powerpoint
