Main Street Music is looking for a new music therapist to take on clients in person at our location in Mullica Hill, NJ. This position is part time and would start with one day per week. Schedules are expanded as we sign up clients. Our current music therapist is completely booked and we're looking for someone to take the overflow. A college degree in music therapy is required. Board certification is required. Prior teaching experience and performance experience is preferred. Benefits include the following.
Schedules are consolidated to minimize breaks in between lessons whenever possible.
We have comprehensive studio policies that ensure schedule/income stability for our teachers.
We use paid advertising to help keep teachers' schedules full year-round.
Dedicated administrative staff work Monday through Saturday and handle all administrative duties including scheduling, billing, signing up new students, etc.
Paid sick leave provided.
The studio average teacher rate of pay is $40/hour. Therapists are paid a fixed, unique rate based on the length of the session. This rate of pay averages out to be $40/hour.
Therapists are paid regardless of student cancellations.
