Account Manager Position Overview
The Landscape Account Manager will be focused on overseeing and managing a master planned community portfolio, in addition to highlighting our suite of services within that designated community.
Account Manager Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily budget goals and weekly labor cost analysis for the designate project and make appropriate changes to meet budget and cost guidelines.
  • Lead and successfully manage crews and field supervisors to ensure all projects are administered and completed within guidelines, budgets, and work hours and, in the case of changes and additional work, that work is communicated to the client and extra billing is completed.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and potential clients, including homeowners within the community, as well as provide timely and effective assistance to clients for any potential and existing problems.
  • Direct and coordinate staff for management of contracted projects, ensuring proper staffing while maintaining profitability for Gold Landscape.
  • Ensure safety on every project by enforcing safety training and meetings, as well as consistently monitor job sites for potential safety hazards.
Account Manager Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-year Account Management experience; 3 years managing crews.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry basics, including landscape construction and irrigation systems.
  • Landscape industry experience preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of financial management and basic accounting principles.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of State and Federal landscaping and zoning laws, as well as related compliance requirements.
  • Capability and knowledge of IT devices and internal computer programs such as Asset, and other applicable computer programs.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A valid Driver's License and ability to meet Gold Landscape guidelines for driver eligibility.
