Job Summary: RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
- Imaging Procedures: Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, positioning patients for optimal imaging results.
- Scan Parameters: Adjust MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed to ensure accurate imaging results.
- Record Keeping: Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting after each use.
- Department Support: Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades, monitor medical supply inventory, and assist with training new associates.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certifications: ARRT (R) certification in MRI required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in MRI imaging preferred.
Working Conditions: This is a full-time position, working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 6:30am to 9pm, at our DeSoto, TX center.
