Experience and Licensing Requirements:

2. CPR Certification

Responsibilities:
1. Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
2. Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
3. Monitor and document patient progress, including changes in mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
4. Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs and proper techniques for rehabilitation.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nurses, to ensure coordinated care for patients.
6. Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity at all times.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team in California.
The Physical Therapist Assistant (“PTA”) provides quality care to all residents. Under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, the PTA evaluates and treats patients/residents, communicates with their families, physicians, and other health team members, and maintains all necessary documentation of services in the patient’s medical records.
As a Travel PTA, you will work alongside licensed physical therapists to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients across various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and outpatient facilities. This position offers the opportunity to travel to different locations within California, providing valuable experience and exposure to diverse patient populations.
