The Medical Laboratory Technician utilizes a variety of equipment and materials to provide physicians with the data for the study diagnosis and treatment of patients and provides services in Microbiology, Serology, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, Hematology, and Chemistry.<br> <br>This position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.<br> <br>This position reports to the Lab Section Supervisor and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedure<br> <br> <b>Qualifications</b> <br> <ul> <li>Associate's degree and MLT (CLT) (ASCP) or equivalent registration or registry eligibility required</li> <li>If the employee does not meet registration requirements within 1 year of employment, the position will be forfeited</li> <li>Relevant education transcripts required</li> <li>Six (6) months to one (1) year experience as an MLT preferred</li> <li>Recent Blood Banking experience (within the previous 3 years) required if employee will be scheduled to work in the Blood Bank</li></ul><img src="https://counter.adcourier.com/YmJnZW5lcmljLjA1MTE5LjEyNTI0QHBhcnRuZXJzaGVhbHRoY2FyZXRlY29tcC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif">
