Data Engineer Gilbane is looking to add a highly skilled Data Engineer to our Information Technology Team. Responsibilities Design and implement an enterprise data model in partnership with the data engineering team (ETL Development) and business stakeholders, with a focus on scalable data models organized around logical business entities. Develop API based integrations, ensuring efficient data flow and storage. This involves working with technologies like Boomi, SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Data Bricks, Snowflake etc. Various software APIs. Develop and optimize ETL processes including extracting data from source systems, transforming it into a usable format, and loading it into the target storage. Create and maintain data pipelines that facilitate the flow of data from various sources to Data warehouse or other storage systems. Implement process to ensuring data quality and integrity. Responsibilities include validating and cleansing data to maintain its quality and integrity. Qualifications Experience designing enterprise data models for warehousing and data marts that drive reporting, data science environments, organized around logical entities. Experience developing integrations using APIs. Boomi experience best, mulesoft also good, experience with other API integration development will do. Experience owning or working in an enterprise data governance program a big plus 5+ years' experience in a prior role Experience designing and implementing an enterprise master data model for a medium sized organization. Experience designing and building out API based data integrations with a middleware platform such as Boomi, Mulesoft, or the like. Experience implementing python workflows in azure using airflow. Trained in SAFe methodology. Education: Bachelor's degree Master's Degree preferred with a focus in Computer science, data engineering / architecture / systems. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
