Don't let this opportunity pass you by – this position will fill quickly!</p><p><b>Opportunity Specifics:</b></p><ul><li>Start Date: ASAP </li><li>Daily Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)</li><li>Clinical Setting: Outpatient Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, Physical Therapy and Advanced Specialist Services</li></ul><p><b>Candidate Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Welcome patients and obtain medical histories from patients; verify patient information</li><li>Assist providers during examinations and treatment</li><li>Perform ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director (PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws, etc.) and as certified</li><li>Dispense medications within the scope of practice as ordered by the treating providers and in accordance with state regulations</li><li>Assist the front office team as needed.</li></ul><p><b>Position Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program</li><li>1+ Years of Recent Clinical Experience</li><li><b>Ability to commute daily to Barre, Vermont (Local Opening)</b></li><li>A basic understanding of patient care, medical terminology, coding procedures, reference tools, and appropriate clinical pharmacology for medical assistant practice scope.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.</li><li>Familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems.</li></ul>Quick apply today and we'll ensure this is the best for you and your career aspirations.
