Clinic hours, No weekends, holidays or call time! </li> <li><b>Career Growth</b><b> opportunities! </b></li> </ul> <p><b>Job Summary</b></p> <ul> <li>The Medical Assistant in the Clinic is accountable for performing duties that assist in care for clinic patients following established standards, practices and competency. </li> <li>Position will support the Family Practice Clinic. </li> </ul> <p><b> </b><b>Education and/or Experience</b></p> <ul> <li>Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with an Associate’s degree or diploma required upon hire. </li> <li>Six or more years in a healthcare setting and/or Medical Assisting</li> </ul> <p><b>Licensure/Certification/Registration</b></p> <ul> <li>Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire.</li> <li>Must be licensed through one of the following upon hire: <ul> <li>National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). </li> <li>National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT). </li> <li>National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><b>Work Schedule</b></p> <ul> <li>Clinic hours: 8:00am-5:00pm; 72 hours every 2 weeks</li> </ul> <p><b>Pay</b></p> <p>The hourly range for this position is listed below.
