We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our Chicago West office. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Project Management role is in conjunction with lead engineer responsibilities. Requires the ability to oversee the HVAC design of projects from concept to completion, including continuous interface with the design team and clients. Proven design experience with comfort and HVAC systems and related controls Proven design experience with plumbing systems including water, sewer, and gas Experience producing engineering and energy studies including comcheck, Title 24 Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking ability Write responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for various clients and marketing opportunities Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team Mentor and coordinate the work of designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects Manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Five or more years of related experience Ideal candidates will have strong project management, written and communication skills, as well as the ability and passion to provide superior client service to a broad range of clients including higher education, industrial, municipalities, aviation, as well as mechanical/electrical contractors Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team Experience mentoring and coordinating the work of EITs, designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects Able to manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance Experience in AutoCAD and Revit is a plus #LI-AP3 Share this job with a friend ( Share on social media Applications are being accepted on an ongoing basis; however, this job posting may close at any time after a minimum of 3 days of being posted.
