J. Keller is seeking a Material Handler to join our Distribution team!</b>Our Material Handler is responsible for supporting the order fulfillment (picking while at times rising up 21 feet in an order picker and packing), receiving, and shippingprocesses within Distribution.<b>This position has the ability to be scheduled 6:30am - 4:30pm four days per week, or if preferred, 8:30am - 4:30pm five days per week.</b><p><b> J. Follow this link https://www.jjkeller.com/learn/campus#0 <p><b><b>Job Responsibilities</b></b> <p><ul><li>Loads and unloads trucks.</li> <li>Inspects customer returns and inbound shipments. Enters returns and receipts into inventory system.</li> <li>Keeps the product flow-through racks filled on a daily basis.</li> <li>Keeps accurate records of any inventory movement.</li> <li>Transports, stores and retrieves resale and finished goods and raw materials.</li> <li>Prepares stock truck orders for shipment.</li> <li>Prepares requisitions and bills of lading.</li> <li>Picks, packs, and meters warehouse orders.</li> <li>Contributes to a safe work environment byoperating equipmentin a safe and effective manner and reporting safety incidents/concerns in accordance with corporate policy.</li> <li>Works overtime on short notice and adjusts work hours as needed to accomodate business needs.</li> </ul> <p><b><b>Qualifications</b></b> <p>Experience:<br /> <ul><li>1+ year of material handlingexperience.</li> <li>Experience operatinglift truck and other materialhandling equipment.</li> <li>Warehousing experience preferred.</li> <li>Experience working with warehousing software applications preferred.</li> </ul> <br />Education:<br /> <ul><li>High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)</li> </ul> <br />Other Skills/Qualifications:<br /> <ul><li>Ability to lift up to 50-pounds regularly.</li> <li>Ability to stand for long periods of time.</li> <li>Ability to operate lift truck and other material handling equipment.</li> <li>Ability to ride up in an order picker to height of 21 feet.</li> <li>Manual dexterity skills.</li> </ul> <p><b><b>Physical Requirements</b></b> <p>Work is performed primarily in a warehousing(industrial production) environment and may involve exposure to high noise levels, material handling equipment,seasonal weather conditions, and other industrial machinery.
