10pm-6:30am

Pay is $18-$19.00/hr

Summary:   Perform material handler functions, both physically and in ERP system. Follow all safety rules and company established manufacturing methods and processes.

 

Based on business needs, the employee will do all/some of the below essential duties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES : 

1.      Using a forklift or hand truck, transport all materials.

2.      Complete material transfers, purchase order receipts, and shipping transactions in ERP system via PC or barcode scanning.

3.      Check and maintain all Kanban production areas and replenish as necessary, including visual inspection of applicable material bins.

4.      Transfer completed orders to queued area and/or warehouse; complete corresponding transactions into ERP system.

5.      Generate and pick customer order picklists ensuring accurate part, lot number, and quantity.

6.      Create necessary shipping documentation including BOLs, Invoices, SLIs or related documentation.

7.      Communicate with internal groups for pertinent information, including purchasing, manufacturing, scheduling, customer service, etc.

8.      Communicate with motor carriers/parcel services to obtain rate quotes and scheduling the appropriate pick up times; fill out paperwork and tracking information.

9.      Assist in training new employees, as well as actively participate in lean manufacturing activities.

10.  Perform standard warehouse operations, including location/pallet consolidation, remaining balance verification, location organization and standard location replenishment.

11.  Other duties as assigned.
