Manufacturing Engineer - Heat Treat

<b>Duties/Responsibilities:</b> <li>Promote and provide for a safe working environment through all aspects of the facility.</li> <li>Provide daily ownership and support of heat treatment processes in support of manufacturing requirements.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement of heat treat processes both conventional batch IQ and Induction fixture quench technologies.</li> <li>Participate in manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering lean manufacturing activities.</li> <br> <br> <strong>Required: </strong> <br> <br>General:<br> <li>Strong interpersonal skills with operators, skilled trades, peers, and management. <br>2. Hands-on self-motivated engineer required. <br>3. Good written and verbal communication skills.<br>4. Ability to work successfully in a team-based environment.<br>5. Experienced in the Microsoft Office Suite of products. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li> <br> <br>Technical:<br> <li>Demonstrated ability to deliver productivity improvement projects in a high-volume manufacturing environment.</li> <li>Industrial experience / knowledge in the following areas is desirable:<br>a. Conventional Batch IQ case carburizing of steel components.<br>b. Induction heat treating automated processes.<br> c. Manufacturing automation. (Robotics, PLCs, Pick & Place Mechanisms)<br> d.
