Akkodis is seeking an HIL Engineer for a long-term contract job with a top automotive client in Allen Park, MI. Ideally looking for applicants with HIL, ADAS, and CAN experience.<br><br>Pay Range: $40 - $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.<br><br>Role: HIL Engineer<br><br>Location: - Allen Park, MI (Onsite)<br><br>Duration: 12 months contract (Likely Extension)<br><br>Job Description:<br><br>As a Hardware in the Loop (HiL) Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in product development and system integration processes. Your responsibilities will include crafting automated test procedures, utilizing HiL equipment for testing, documenting results, reporting incidents, and overseeing software updates to resolve issues. A key aspect of your role will involve becoming an expert in software test design and possessing in-depth knowledge of vehicle functional partitioning, electrical and communication architectures, embedded software processes, and the Global Product Development System. Collaboration with various stakeholders like feature owners, engineering teams, and suppliers will be essential to ensure thorough testing for early defect detection and elimination.<br><br>Experience Required:<br><ul><li>5+ years of experience in automotive software development or validations.</li><li>5+ years of involvement in software development life cycle, including CMMI and agile processes.</li><li>5+ years of expertise in software testing or quality assurance methodologies.</li><li>5+ years of experience in validation support of dSPACE or NI HIL simulators.</li><li>Proficiency in dSPACE Control and Automation Desk software for at least 5 years.</li><li>3+ years of experience in supporting ADAS/DAT feature testing.</li><li>3+ years of distributed feature testing experience.</li><li>2+ years of experience implementing agile practices and setting up software development workflows at an enterprise scale using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).</li><li>Functional understanding of ASPICE software development process and ISO26262 functional safety standard.</li></ul><br>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
