Duties and Responsibilities:<br>&bull; Troubleshoot and repair equipment- evaluate equipment operation and perform necessary action<br>when malfunction occurs, or improvements are needed.<br>&bull; Performs preventive maintenance activities as dictated by work schedule.<br>&bull; Administration-distribute work orders, process/ summarize work order data, initiate purchase<br>requisitions, utilize equipment and process documentation.<br>&bull; Keep MDI Board current and up to date.<br>&bull; Comply and participate regulatory, Carlisle, And departmental policies, procedures, and<br>standards (PSM, safety protocols, COS)<br>&bull; Provide training to Maintenance technicians I & II & III as needed.<br>&bull; Articulate to vendors/engineer's machine issue to resolve technical issues.<br>&bull; Handle and audit preventative maintenance procedures.<br>&bull; Other duties as assigned. <br> <br>Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:<br>&bull; Ability to train and lead a team of 4 or more Maintenance Technicians.<br>&bull; Knowledge of measuring gauges such as tape measures.<br>&bull; Knowledge of various hand and power tools.<br>&bull; Prior experience operating a forklift.<br>&bull; Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.<br>&bull; Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information.<br>&bull; Effective communication and problem-solving skills.<br>&bull; Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills.<br>&bull; Ability to work under pressure to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.<br>&bull; Have boiler operator certification or ability to obtain boiler certification.<br>&bull; Working knowledge of electrical codes including NEMA, etc. (NFPA 70E, Arc Flash)<br>&bull; Industrial electrical AC/DC troubleshooting skills, including ability to utilize electrical<br>instrumentation (megohmmeter).<br>&bull; Complete knowledge of all plant equipment (level III).<br>&bull; Ability to use hand& portable tools, gas and arc welder, forklift, pickup truck, testing equipment,<br>tape measure, computer (shop floor and ERP). <br> <br>Education and Experience:<br>&bull; Required:<br>o Education - High School diploma or GED required.<br>o Five (5) years minimum maintenance experience as a hands-on craftsman in an<br>industrial/manufacturing environment associated with engineering or maintenance<br>activity.<br>o Understanding of basic mechanical & electrical principles as they apply to plant/process<br>specific equipment (hydraulic and pneumatic systems also) along with the ability to<br>troubleshoot and repair equipment.<br>o Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information.<br>o Prior leadership experience with a team of no less than four (4) employees<br>o Some knowledge and experience in using a forklift and scissor lift.<br>o Experience with computers including Microsoft Office suite programs (Word, Excel,<br>Outlook)<br>o Effective communication and problem-solving skills.<br>o Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills<br>o Ability to work under pressure to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.<br>Working Conditions:<br>&bull; Fast paced manufacturing environment where workers are exposed to both ambient/outside<br>temperatures and dust; working with mechanical parts and pinch points; exposure to increased<br>noise levels.<br>&bull; Exposure to hazardous mechanical, electrical and chemical substances/equipment.<br>&bull; Confined workspaces.<br> <br>Job Summary<br>Maintain and repair mechanical/electrical/boiler systems within a manufacturing environment; execute<br>capital projects (installation, dismantling of equipment) and other various maintenance tasks throughout<br>the facility with key knowledge of the equipment and minimum supervision. Expected hours of work 40<br>hours a week with a varied shift schedule 8-10 hours shifts with occasional overtime and weekend hours.<br>No travel required. <br> <br>Duties and Responsibilities:<br>&bull; Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.<br>&bull; Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems.<br>&bull; Inspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair.<br>&bull; Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment<br>according to specific procedures.<br>&bull; Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments according to production specifications.<br>&bull; Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.<br>&bull; Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information.<br>&bull; Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or<br>maintenance.<br>&bull; Set up and operate machines and adjust controls to regulate operations.<br>&bull; Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage,<br>using cranes, hoists, or dollies.<br>&bull; Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse in order to maintain machinery and work<br>areas.<br>&bull; Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or<br>other equipment.<br>&bull; Performing ongoing preventative maintenance on facility equipment.<br>&bull; Repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons,<br>contactors, motor starters, etc. as needed.<br>&bull; Comply and participate regulatory, Carlisle, And departmental policies, procedures, and standards<br>(PSM, safety protocols, COS)<br>&bull; Articulate to vendors/engineer's machine issue to resolve technical issues.<br>&bull; Assist with basic electronics/ Programmable Logic Controls troubleshooting.<br>&bull; Other duties as assigned.<br> <br>Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled<img src="https://counter.adcourier.com/YmJnZW5lcmljLjAxODEwLjEyNTI0QGNhcmxpc2xlY2l0Y29tcC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif">
