<b>The work we do matters!</b> <br> <br> <b>Hiring Agency:</b> <br>Military - Agency 31<br> <br> <b>Location: </b> <br>Scottsbluff, NE<br> <br> <b>Hiring Rate:</b> <br>$21.355<br> <br> <b>Job Posting:</b> <br>JR2024-00007677 Maintenance Specialist I (Open)<br> <br> <b>Applications No Longer Accepted On </b>(If no date is displayed, job is posted as open until closed):<br>07-05-2024<br> <br> <b>Job Description:</b> <br>Location: Construction and Facilities Management Office, Scottsbluff Readiness Center, 2810 1st Ave, Scottsbluff NE<br> <br>Job Duties:<br> <br>*Performs skilled painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, welding work in the major renovation and construction of building structures to construction, maintaining and repairs.<br>*Constructs, maintains, repairs concrete and other foundations, and interior and exterior walls and ceilings from construction to repairs.<br>*Installs, replaces, repairs, and rebuilds locks, electronic/electrical locks, security devices, and other hardware to ensure the security of state buildings and property.<br>*Inspects and audits work areas and facilities for safety hazards.<br>*Performs skilled work in operating and maintaining building control systems.<br>*Schedules and performs specialized preventative maintenance and repairs for equipment and systems.<br>*Other duties as assigned.<br> <br> <b>Starting hourly pay rate is $21.355.</b> <br> <br> <b>Requirements / Qualifications:</b> <br> <br> <b>Minimum Qualifications: </b>Associates degree or equivalent vocational education in construction, industrial engineering, HVAC, welding, or other building trade. Experience in building maintenance, a mechanical trade, or performing safety inspections, investigations or training may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.<br> <br> <b>Other: </b>Background check will be required.
