<b> <b>Basic Job Functions:</b></b> <br> <br>The Machinist will be responsible for maintaining the equipment in the machine shop in a safe and ready to use condition, providing machine support for projects, assisting with emergency repair machining, creating prototypes for initial parts, and producing parts for warehouse stock based on EAM work orders. The qualified applicant must be willing to work weekends, holidays, scheduled, and unscheduled overtime. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.<br> <br> <b> <b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></b> <br> <br>1. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent<br> <br> 2. 3+ years of Industrial Machine Shop Experience<br> <br> 3.
