Reporting to: Departmental Lead, Supervisor or Manager
Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm with on-call responsibilities.
Job Location: Leland/Wilmington, NC and surrounding areas within a 2-hour radius.
Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory School and must have current RCP state licensure in SC and in good standing.
  • Must willing to get cross-licensed in other states at the company's expense.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance in good standing.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a working Respiratory Therapist is required. Experience in the home setting is highly desirable.
  • CRTT or RRT certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Must have adequate PC skills to use e-mail and update notes and other documentation electronically in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
  • Provides patients and family members with timely and accurate information and takes appropriate corrective actions regarding our services to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Ability to initiate and develop good working relationships with patients, family members and referral sources is essential.
  • Ensures that the team plans daily events so as to be as efficient as possible with time management (e.g., minimizes travel time by planning routes ahead of time).
  • Assists with the proper scheduling of set ups and follow up visits according to company policies and standards.
  • Works closely with the RT Clinical Liaisons in coordinating patient discharges.
  • Ability to properly triage problems in the field in accordance with company standards and other verbal and written training policies.
  • Ensures that the team follows proper procedures for accurate and timely documentation of patient concerns, and most importantly, takes appropriate corrective actions.
  • Maintains strong knowledge of PromptCare's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensures that they are applied consistently
  • Ensures that the team maintains compliance to all applicable laws, regulations and SOPs at all times Fosters a culture wherein the team conducts activities with a mindset of delivering "white glove" service to the patients and family members
  • Submits expense reports for travel at least once monthly and in a timely manner
  • On-call responsibilities as needed.
