Full-time Medical Records Director qualifications include:

  • 2 years of Management experience preferred
  • 5 years of Medical Records experience, preferably in SNF setting
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Associates degree in Health Information/Medical Records preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of Medical Terminology required
  • Advanced understanding of administrative processes
  • Experience with PCC preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Critical thinker/Problem solver
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage Medical Records department for community
  • Ability to foster team work with all departments
  • Superb documentation skills
  • Strong organization skills
