Automotive Technician Claims Support - Hybrid

Our Client has an Immediate opening for a Automotive Technician Claims Support.This is different from your typical Service Writer role!Our client seeks current and former Service Advisors or Auto Mechanics who want to take their careers to another level in a professional office environment. If you've always wanted to use your automotive knowledge and your communication skills, this is the role for you!The ideal candidate will be sharp, talented individuals who are effective communicators to quickly identify and efficiently handle warranty-related issues within our Vehicle Service Contract Department. This position supports agents, clients, and customers by adjudicating claims, providing claims status, and resolving or escalating customer issues. The claims adjuster ensures proper documentation, adjudicates per the terms and conditions of the contract, utilizes available resources, and meets schedule expectations, informing management of any changes.Job Requirements: •High School Diploma or equivalent•Minimum of three years of experience within the Automotive Service Industry required•Must have strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot and service policy issues•Must be proficient in Windows and MS Office Products•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Superior verbal/written skills and communication skills•Good punctuation, spelling, mathematical, grammar and attention to detail•Strong interpersonal skills essential•Ability to exercise sound judgment when interacting with customers•Must be authorized to work in the U.S or Canada•Must be able to pass a background check successfullyExperience in customer service, insurance claims, or call/claims center environment is a plus.
