Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

System One has partnered with a renewable energy company in Boulder, CO in their search for a Sr. FP&A Analyst to join their team. Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, to identify key performance drivers and areas for improvement. Prepare, maintain, and present financial reports (monthly/quarterly/annual) and dashboards to key stakeholders. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards. Collaborate with various departments to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Analyze historical data and industry trends to provide accurate financial projections. Monitor KPIs and provide insights into their impact on the company's financial performance. Identify opportunities for improvement and growth. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making and special projects. Ensure compliance with SOX controls and company policies.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of professional Accounting or Finance experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus. Proficiency in MS Excel required. Knowledge of MACRO/VBA is preferred. Strong knowledge of financial budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis required. Experience with structured finance, including modeling asset, debt, and tax equity waterfalls structures is a plus. Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment, while also taking initiative and having the ability to work both independently with minimal supervision, and work collaboratively as part of a team and across departments. Must posses the ability to manage time appropriately and meet deadlines.
