This exciting position allows you to leverage your expertise in a state-of-the-art facility and contribute to a high-volume surgical setting: Structured Schedule with Call: Maintain a consistent work-life balance with weekday hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Manage call responsibilities from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a 20-minute response time. Chief-Assigned Call: The chief assigns call duties, with OR call managed from home and OB call requiring in-house presence (OB services are not currently offered but may be implemented in the future). Independent Practice: Work with minimal supervision from experienced MDs, fostering a collaborative team spirit. Extensive Case Mix: Deliver anesthesia care across a wide range of specialties, including: Cardiac Surgery (TEE/Heart experience preferred) Orthopedics Endoscopy General Surgery Ophthalmology Vascular Surgery Gynecology Pediatrics Urology Acute Pain Management Trauma Proficiency in Techniques: Demonstrate expertise in performing spinals, blocks, and epidurals. Streamlined Credentialing (for Temps): Temporary positions are available for CRNAs with a clear background/malpractice history and an active, unrestricted license. Credentialing for permanent positions typically takes approximately 60-90 days. Detailed Case Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records with the efficient Cerner electronic medical record system. Supportive Team Environment: Integrate into a team of 18 providers working across 9 operating rooms, with dedicated units for: Endoscopy (2 rooms) Cardiovascular Surgery (1 room) Catheterization Lab (1 room) Interventional Radiology (1 room) Advanced Life Support Certifications: Hold current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA). Specific Licensure Requirements: Hold a valid Indiana Controlled Substances Registration (CS) and a Permit to Conduct a Facility (PCF) license.
