About Our Client
Our client is an industry leading general contractor with an upstanding reputation throughout the Southeast construction market. They focus on several sectors all withing commercial construction including multifamily, higher education, interiors, lights industrial and more.
Job Description
  • Review project plans, specifications, and construction schedules.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and implement construction schedules and time lines.
  • Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities.
  • Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project schedule and budget.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality control measures.
  • Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for construction crew.
  • Maintain accurate records of all construction activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety inspections.
  • Prepare and submit reports to project managers and stakeholders as required
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, permits, and regulations
  • Facilitate smooth transition and handover of the completed project to the client.

The Successful Applicant
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a superintendent in the commercial construction industry
  • Ability to travel throughout the southeast region
  • Experience with ground up stick frame projects, specifically multifamily or university dormitories
  • Experience leading a field team and collaborating with management
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively oversee on-site activities and coordinate subcontractors
  • Ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Commitment to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations
