Local Contract Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $58-59 per hour

Talent4Health is seeking a local contract Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a local contract job in Ithaca, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/21/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract 2 years of experience required. Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:00 Role and Responsibilities: •Competently perform imaging procedures, including administration of radioisotopes. •Maintains and calibrates radioisotope and laboratory equipment. •Maintain compassionate patient care, comfort and safety, while ensuring patient confidentiality •Is flexible in assuming other appropriate responsibilities not noted above. •Follows all state regulations, and perform and maintain department QA procedures and documentation. •Assists with training and educating new staff members and students as appropriate. •Maintains all credentials and CE credits essential to position. •NMTCB or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine. •NYS Dept of Health License •NMTCB; plus CT certification or ARRT; NM plus CT or DX certification. •Education: Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine or graduation from accredited Nuclear Medicine certificate program. •Experience: Experience a plus, but new grads welcome. •Licensure: NYS NM, DX or CT About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
