Lifestyles Facilitator/Flex Sub

General Purpose: Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Lifestyles Facilitator Flex Sub provides adaptable and flexible support to clients across multiple Agency programs. Based in Konocti Lifestyles, this position requires a willingness to step into various entry-level roles, including Substitute Supervisor (Landscaping & Janitorial) in Konocti Industries, Personal Assistant in KIS Lakeport and KIS Clearlake, and other Agency roles. Exceptional adaptability, a strong commitment to person-centered care, and a willingness to learn and grow in diverse settings are essential. Qualifications: • Minimum of one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid Class C driver's license with eligibility for commercial Class C with Passenger Endorsement. • CPR/First Aid Certification and Pro-ACT Certification preferred. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage multiple tasks. • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new things. • Commitment to person-centered care and positive support principles. Essential Job Duties: • Flexibility and Adaptability: o Willingness to switch roles and programs based on organizational needs. o Ability to quickly learn new procedures and adapt to different work environments. o Demonstrated success in handling unexpected situations and maintaining focus. • Client Support: o Provide direct supervision and support to clients with developmental disabilities. o Implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and assist with achieving short and long-term goals. o Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and other caregivers. o Observe and report on client health and well-being. o Assist clients with toileting and hygiene based on their individual needs. o Promote client independence and dignity while offering assistance with essential daily living activities. • Substitute Roles: o Substitute Supervisor (Konocti Industries): Lead landscaping and janitorial teams, ensuring quality and safety. See role specific job descriptions for more information. • Communication and Collaboration: o Maintain clear and consistent communication with Program Director(s) and service coordinators. o Participate in program meetings, trainings, and staff development activities. o Build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders. • Additional Responsibilities: o Manage client schedules and document service-related activities. o Identify and troubleshoot community barriers for clients. o Assist with developing and updating client training programs. o Implement Positive Behavioral Support strategies. o Administer first aid and other basic care tasks. o Maintain a safe and positive environment for all.
