Position Summary:
The NewAge Account Manager's primary responsibilities will be to seek out and develop new business opportunities in the medical device and food and beverage markets. The Account Manager will work with existing accounts in target markets in order to retain and grow business in addition to working closely with other internal and external team members in supporting sales functions and opportunities with NewAge Industries' customers. This position will also work closely with other NewAge departments acting as the liaison between these departments and the customer while using positive communication and collaboration.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Continue to build long-term trusting relationships with customers
• Develop and expand existing business with customers
• Proactively explore new business opportunities via phone, email, social media, in person visits and trade shows
• Qualify leads and prospects from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
• Drive new sales opportunities with new and existing customers
• Understand and be knowledgeable of the Medical Device, Industrial, Food/Beverage and other markets as required
• Understand the expectations, requirements, and nuances of all Customers/Distributors/OEMs, and provide excellent customer service in servicing them
• Utilize CRM for account and opportunity management
• Understand and be knowledgeable of NewAge competitors and their products and how NewAge and its products compare to them
• Communicate industry news or trends with other members of the Sales team
• Communicate all internal knowledge learned with other members of the Sales team that may impact our Customers/Distributors/OEMs
• Prepares sales reports per sales manager criteria, including forecasting and demand planning
• Communicate all relevant events and issues to the sales management team
• Other duties as assigned
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Utilize sales process in order to develop new solutions for customers to increase sales
  • Track, communicate and manage activities utilizing HubSpot CRM
  • Develop strong business relationship with current and new distributors and customers
  • Drive new sales opportunities with existing customers, positioning the company for success
  • Provide a world class customer experience to obtain new customers and retain existing customers
  • Understand the expectations, requirements and nuances of each Customer/Distributor/OEM providing them with excellent customer service
  • Become knowledgeable of the BioPharm industry including single use products, the major suppliers and the components used in the industry
  • Become knowledgeable of AdvantaPure's competitors and their products and how AdvantaPure and its products compare to them.
  • Track lost sales and opportunities
  • Communicate industry news. Major events, issues or trends learned with sales team
  • Represent AdvantaPure at tradeshows
  • Travel to functions, tradeshows, conferences, customers and distributors, as needed
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, including forecasting and demand planning
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Business, Marketing, Communications, Science or a related field of study
  • 5 years relevant sales experience preferred, technical sales experience highly desirable, biopharmaceutical/ bioprocessing preferred
  • Experience working with customers and sales channels in various markets a plus
  • Experience with the Sandler sales system or other sales systems a plus
  • Strong team player and collaborator
  • Strong customer orientation and drive to effectively meet customer requirements
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbally and written) skills
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a functional level
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Travel requirements - Up to 20%
