Responsibilities:
- Installation, programming, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, including but not limited to EST, Edwards, EST3, and EST4 systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests of the fire alarm systems to ensure they are in good working order.
- Diagnose and repair any faults or malfunctions in the fire alarm systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all installation, inspection, and maintenance activities.
- Provide training and guidance to other team members on the operation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or queries from clients promptly and professionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid Fire Alarm System Technician License.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician in the construction industry.
- Proficiency with EST, Edwards, EST3, EST4, and other Fire Alarm Systems.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to fire alarm systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair faults in fire alarm systems.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a commitment to ensuring client satisfaction.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail.
- Physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a variety of conditions.
