Job Title: Licensed, Behavioral Health Clinician (Play Therapy)Job Code: HCP051/Social Worker, Licensed 2Shift: (40 hours per week on average)Job Hours: Times May VaryBase Location: Norcross, GADivision/Department/Program: Norcross Outpatient Center View Point Health proudly provides outpatient treatment to children, adolescents and adults. At the outpatient centers, we promote overall health and quality of life for individuals, youth and families through evidenced-based therapies and medication management to reduce the impact of mental illness, behavior challenges, and substance use. Under general supervision, performs psychosocial assessments, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning. Provides counseling/therapy to clients requiring complex intervention. Performs commitment determinations and/or executes orders of involuntary commitments. Duties &amp; Responsibilities: Completes diagnostic formulations and appropriate assessments for youth with behavioral health disorders Collaboratively formulate SMART treatment plans to address issues identified in assessment Participate in play therapy supervision and utilize play therapy in sessions with clients Provides evidenced-based therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents, and families Assist client/family in identifying, developing, and sustaining appropriate natural support systems Communicate with outside agencies/providers as needed (i.e., schools, IEP team) Provide psychoeducation to family around mental health, trauma, recovery Collaborate with other behavioral health and physical health providers to holistically address client needs Complete all required documentation (daily clinical notes, assessments, treatment plans) in an accurate and timely manner (agency standard 24 hrs) Participate in regular team meetings to collaborate regarding shared clients, build and practice new skills, and stay up to date on agency administrative information Participate in clinical supervision to increase competence and professional development Participate in on-call rotation to provide after hour coverage, via phone Completes annual training requirements as outlined by agency and/or supervisor Performs other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND eligibility to be licensed in the state of Georgia ORMasters degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND associate licensure in the state of GeorgiaONE year of supervised experience in behavioral healthMust pass criminal records fingerprint check. Preferred Qualifications: Play therapy training and Play therapy supervision availableExperience with Carelogic or other EHR/EMRGeorgia License as LCSW or LPC Experience with CareLogic or other EMR. Is comfortable and proficient with collaborative &amp; concurrent documentation.Experience in trauma-informed care, or trauma related interventions and skills.Spanish speaking, a BIG plus (but not required) Requirements/Competencies: Must be able to lift 20 pounds.Requires long periods of sitting/standing.Must have valid Georgia drivers license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting).Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.Any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.Other duties as assigned.
