Our team is in search of a  Lead Insurance Billing Coordinator  with exceptional organizational skills and a comprehensive knowledge in dental billing. As the Lead Insurance Billing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily insurance claims operations, providing quality control on all things insurance related, and guiding the our team in meeting daily collection goals. Your leadership, communication, professionalism, and execution in filing claims will be instrumental in the success of our practice.

+ Essential Job Functions

  • Supervise and manage all insurance claims, billing, and collections.
  • Ensure excellent patient experience by maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment, addressing patient concerns, and resolving complaints efficiently.
  • Oversee the billing process, including insurance claims submissions, payment coordination, and collection procedures.
  • Implement and adhere to all office policies and procedures, enforcing HIPAA regulations, maintaining patient confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with insurance representatives and patients.

+ Required Experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in insurance billing codes, claims submittal, and collections.
  • Extensive knowledge of dental office operations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Proficient in dental software, appointment scheduling systems, and MS Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and dental compliance requirements.
  • Ability to handle patient's confidential information with the utmost care and respect.
