Laboratory Assistant conducts chemical exams of body fluids to find out the presence of abnormal and normal components. Work also consists of clerical duties, answering telephones, and assisting in-patients and out-patients and other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Must be certified by Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners as a lab Assistant.
