*Job Description*

NRF Distributors Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for assisting the Controller and Accounts Payable area in maintaining the financial reporting systems, as well as providing back up for the Staff Accountant.

Familiarity with current accounting systems, basic computer skills, and experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word are requirements of this position.

*Duties Include:*
·Preparing journal entries in preparation of the monthly closing.
·Preparing account analysis and monthly accruals.
·Backing up the AP Supervisor for entering payables.
·Maintaining standard journal entries.
·Maintaining and ordering office supplies.
·Maintaining inventory pricing.
·Devaluing products daily.
·Maintaining sales data daily and emailing MTD Sales.
·Scanning deposits daily.
·Checking Accounts Receivable daily.
·Conducting weekly vendor audits.
·Working with Lead Staff Accountant to maintain cell phone accoounts.
·Handling petty cash box: making change, stamps, and collecting monies.
·Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
