Director, Respiratory Care

Overview JOB SUMMARY The Respiratory Care Director coordinates, directs, administers, sets goals, develops annual budget, develops and maintains departmental policies and procedures. This individual ensures the department meets regulatory requirements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Minimum of an Associate degree in Respiratory Care, A Baccalaureate Degree in Business Management or related area is preferred. Master's Degree in related field is desirable. Experience: At least five years' experience in respiratory care, with at least three years in a leadership role. Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and skills in administration and leadership, employee relations, communications, management of fiscal resources, and legislation affecting Respiratory Care, Neuro-diagnosis, and Vascular Imaging. License and Certifications: Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Must possess current California Respiratory Care Practitioner Certification (RCP). Equipment: Knowledge of all equipment used within the SARH Respiratory Care department. Basic computer, and phone system. Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job. PAY RANGE $57.39 - $86.09 The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate's relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate's individual experience.
