The region’s leading network of healthcare providers, Inspira Health is seeking an *IS Training Specialist *to join us at our Bridgeton, New Jersey location. You will design, develop, coordinate and promote computer education programs for clinical informatics related projects and other organizational training, using a variety of delivery techniques including classroom and web-based training. *This is a hybrid position, requiring some work at our location in Bridgeton, NJ.*
*Responsibilities:*
* Lead training projects that provide hands-on learning experiences to nursing, physician and other clinical staff
* Act as a consultant for different projects and departments to meet computer training goals and requirements
* Review participant evaluations of computer training programs and adjust as needed
* Maintain records of employees’ education participation
* Deploy web-based training and provide assistance as needed
* Assists the IS team in maintaining the EHR Train Domain to ensure functionality and content is up to date
* Develop training collateral for new functionality and workflows, including tip sheets, pocket guides, screen savers, demo videos, etc.
* Update training manuals as needed
*Qualifications: *
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Education, Instructional Design, Computer Science or related area; degree in Nursing Informatics preferred
* Prior experience in developing and delivering professional education and/or instructional design with program facilitation in an acute/critical healthcare setting with demonstrated leadership capacity
* Proven experience in project management, time management and teamwork
* Experience working with PC workstations using application software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Publisher and Internet Explorer
* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse preferred
