Description:

To provide proficient technical support by assisting the physician with patient preparation, intra and post-interventional/surgical procedures, management of supplies and devices, physiologic patient monitoring and assisting with direct patient care. Responsible for safe and effective operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment as well as specialized imaging and technical equipment used for procedures. Is a patient/family educator, advocate and liaison. Estimated pay range for this position is $34.59 - $48.43 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:

Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support Additional Qualifications: Cardiovascular or Cardiopulmonary Technologist (CVT) from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or a graduate of a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate academic program in health science (includes, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing). Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Proof of RCIS or RCES exam eligibility required. Must attain RCIS or RCES within 2 years of hire date or have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Completes a minimum of 12 CEU‘s annually (10 CEU‘s must be CV related).
