Position: INTERIM DIRECTOR OF NURSING
Location: Brunswick, MO

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
On-Call: Included for residents' clinical needs

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Interim Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and oversee the clinical care of our residents. This position involves managing an average census of 36 residents, including 2 skilled nursing residents and 4 hospice residents. The Interim Director of Nursing will be on call for residents' clinical needs and is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the nursing department.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and support nursing staff, providing guidance and professional development.
  • Coordinate and manage patient care plans, ensuring individualized and effective care.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, patients, and families to address concerns and improve patient outcomes.
  • Manage staffing schedules, including on-call rotations for clinical needs.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of care.

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility and/or hospice care is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Work Schedule:
