Job Description:

We are seeking an ambitious self-starter with the ability to build relationships and persuade others . The bilingual insurance sales representative position is for those with at least one year of experience in personal lines or commercial lines insurance . We need your expertise to help us maintain this level of success. The base salary for this position is $35,000-$42,000. May make an additional $8,000 - $15,000 With added commission and bonuses

Responsibilities
  • Prospect for business from generated leads/web leads
  • Constantly look out for new opportunities to cross-sell /account rounding.
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients through follow-ups, networking, and objection handling.
  • Advise prospects on insurance policies based on their personal needs and goals.
  • Handle objections and win back clients.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals as established by management

Requirements
  • Maryland Property and Casualty License Required.
  • 1+ years of insurance industry experience (personal lines, commercial).
  • 1+ years with phone work (cold calling, telemarketing, collections, outbound sales)
  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Fundamental knowledge of computer software
  • Ambitious self-starter with the ability to build relationships and persuade others.
  • Persuasive, proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrate professionalism over the phone or in the office to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
