Instrument & Electrical Planner/Scheduler

<b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b> <br> <br> Wood is currently recruiting for an<strong> Instrument and Electrical Planner/Scheduler</strong> with experience in the chemical manufacturing industry. As the Planner & Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing plans & schedules for resources required to implement Maintenance and Project. This work is in support of facility-based projects in an active chemical manufacturing plant as part of that plant's Maintenance execution group.<br> <br> <b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b> <br> <br> <ul> <li>Meet or exceed the company's safety standards</li> <li>Comply with all company procedures, engineering practices and other standards</li> <li>Create and manage job plans and schedules to accomplish maintenance and project goals. <ul> <li>Have attention to detail in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Understand electrical and instrumentation design</li> <li>Develop Installation, and maintenance plans using industry standards & regulations</li> </ul></li> <li>Read and fully understand P&ID's and other documents which describe the scope of work to be done</li> <li>Work closely with Engineering, contractors, and team members to achieve project success</li> </ul> <br> <br> <b>QUALIFICATIONS</b> <br> <br> <ul> <li>10+ years industrial experience working in the chemical manufacturing industry</li> <li>Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Experience in design of instrumentation and electrical systems as currently used in chemical manufacturing facilities: <ul> <li>Electrical schematics</li> <li>Wiring diagrams</li> <li>plan drawings</li> <li>conduit and cable tray layouts</li> <li>pressure, temperature, flow, density, and other instrumentation, </li> <li>instrument loops</li> <li>PLC and DCS</li> </ul></li> <li>Experience with I/O detail wiring and termination</li> <li>Knowledge of electrical equipment selection in industrial classified areas</li> <li>Able to wear required PPE and safely operate a vehicle</li> <li>Proficiency in SAP.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft, Word, Excel and Outlook</li> </ul><img src="https://counter.adcourier.com/YmJnZW5lcmljLjUwNTk0LjEyNTI0QHdvb2RwbGNvbXAuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif">
