Job Description
- Manage, implement, and evaluate the Infection Control Program
- Develop and monitor the employee health program
- Coordinate the Workers' Compensation program
- Prevent and control the acquisition and transmission of infectious agents
- Surveillance, analysis, and reporting of hospital acquired infections
- Educate employees about infection control and develop organizational infection control and employee health standards
Qualifications
- Current license or registration certification applicable to health-related field
- Demonstrated knowledge or job experience in Workers' Compensation law and OSHA regulations
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) preferred
- 1 year experience in a clinical setting in field of practice
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds
- Visual acuity, speech recognition, speech clarity
Skills and Abilities
- Oral communication, written communication, active listening
- Information ordering, deductive reasoning, time management, critical thinking
- Ability to work independently without continuous supervision
Environmental Conditions
