About the Role
The Industrial Automation Inside Sales Associate will exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers, have the ability to manage and grow existing accounts, and pursue new business accounts.
What You'll Do
- Customer interaction via the telephone and email; respond and provide solutions to customers promptly
- Provide immediate customer support to meet their needs; quotations, technical research, literature requests, manufacturer interaction, proposals, and expediting
- Escalate backorders and customer requirements to maximize fill rates and exceed customer expectations
- Provide technical feedback and design solutions to meet customer requirements
- Interact with manufacturing partners and build sustainable relationships
- Ability to identify problems and provide solutions
- Assists Outside Sales in achieving the strategic goals of assigned accounts
What You'll Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Industrial and/or Automation experience preferred
- Infor and SAP experience preferred
- Experience in the electrical distribution industry
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive decisions with influence.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
