In-Home Support – Community Living

New Horizons is looking for an In-Home Support employee to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their individual goals. An In-Home Support employee will work with the individual(s) to develop skills, practice independence, and explore opportunities while providing support to the individual in their home and in the community.

A successful In-Home Support employee will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive relationship with the individual(s) they support. The In-Home Support employee will need to utilize problem solving, time management, and organizational skills while supporting the individual(s) they support.

In-Home Support employees make a positive difference in the life of the individual(s) they support.

Job Qualifications

  • Eighteen (18) Years of Age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Complete required training including First Aid/CPR certification

Additional Information

  • Drug Test required
  • Background report and driving record required
  • TB test required

Part-Time

Typical Hours: Second Shift w/weekend rotation
