Training schedule 6:30 am - 3:30 pm shadowing the Director. Daily Schedule after training 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday 30-minute lunch break at 12 noon and two 15-minute breaks at 10 am and 2 pm.
Role Description We are a fun and tight-knit group experiencing tremendous growth. This position will be central to the company's Warehouse department as the medical and laboratory distribution business expands. This is a fantastic opportunity as our company is rapidly growing.
The Operations Coordinator is crucial in our warehouse, ensuring accurate transaction execution within our ERP System and supporting critical Operations Management activities daily. Our Operations Coordinator works closely with our Operations Director and Inventory manager to drive activities through the warehouse, including tracking inbound and outbound shipments, managing inventories, document retention, and other work to keep our locations efficient, safe, and compliant with internal and external requirements.
Additionally, the coordinator plays a key role for internal partners, acting as a liaison for Warehouse Operations, sharing Customer Order fulfillment and shipment status information, coordinating shipments with Carriers, and handling the many vendor partners that Cenmed Enterprises works with locally daily.
This role requires individuals to have a solid understanding of warehouse operations and the technical skills to drive processes through our various business systems.
Roles and Responsibilities: Your day-to-day work in our warehouse will involve frequent computer use, printing labels through logistic carriers, and packing customer orders. The work will be physically demanding, and you will be highly focused on your and others' safety. You will assist the Director and Inventory manager and work with team members to complete the day's packing and fulfillment needs. Receive Materials & Containers into Inventory Cycle Count management and execution are done at the direction of the inventory manager. Inventory Adjustments, root cause, and reconciliation Management of container tracking and returns Receive Materials & Containers into Inventory Assign stock locations for put-away Key user for shipping-related software and other ERP platforms Check and Count picked orders for accuracy. Responsible for receiving and inspecting products, accurately labeling items, and reporting discrepancies in reconciling deliveries and invoices.
You should have: Experience: 2-3 years experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations. Skills and Abilities: Organizational skills, including the ability to adapt, multitask, and prioritize, and meet short-term/changing deadlines while responding to multiple instructions and directions. A self-starter with strong time management skills is highly preferred. Other: Experience with inventory management systems, ERP systems, or database applications. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint), and intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Decision Making: Exercises moderate independent judgment over the development and execution of plans for accomplishing work, as well as the communication of product production and logistics.
