Our Sorbent Ventilation Technology&reg; (SVT&reg;) improves indoor air quality, lowers a building's carbon footprint, and reduces first costs and operating costs for new and existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. enVerid is a commercial-stage start-up backed by leading climate tech venture capital investors including Bill Gates' Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Ajax Strategies, and Building Ventures. <br><br>About the Position:<br><br>enVerid Systems is seeking an <strong>Application Engineer</strong> with a strong background in HVAC design and/or HVAC equipment sales. As an application engineer, you will support enVerid's customers and partners with applying enVerid's Sorbent Ventilation Technology (SVT) into engineering plans and specifications for commercial buildings across North America. The ideal candidate is a detailed orientated self-starter who enjoys working cross functionally providing great experiences for partners and customers.<br><br>Core Responsibilities<br><ul><li>Provide product application training and market education to enVerid's manufacturer representatives and partners to select markets in North America. Approximately 30% travel.</li><li>Provide sales engineering support to enVerid's Regional Sales Managers by means of reviewing project plans, specifications, and ventilation load calculations. </li><li>Develop new and/or refresh existing technical resources (i.e. computational tools for equipment selections, design guides for equipment integration) to facilitate product adoption and integration. </li><li>Ensure quality and consistency in recommendations for integrating HLR technology into engineering drawings and specifications. </li><li>Review data from customer relationship management (CRM) system to develop product application insights. </li><li>Contribute towards the development of sales and marketing collateral: blog posts, PowerPoint presentations, case studies, white papers, and conference submissions. </li><li>Meet with enVerid's Product and Engineering team to conceptualize new products and innovation. </li></ul><br>Required Qualifications <br><ul><li>Mechanical engineering degree.</li><li>2+ years HVAC design or HVAC equipment sales experience. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Interest and comfort in presenting to large groups (>20 people)</li></ul><br>Preferred Qualifications<br><ul><li>Ability to use AutoCAD, REVIT, and Revu Bluebeam. </li><li>Experience working with CRM systems. </li><li>Interest and participation in industry organizations (i.e. ASHRAE, USGBC). </li><li>Energy modeling calculations </li><li>Experience presenting at events and conferences.</li></ul>
