Pay: $20.10 - $24.12

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs administrative functions, including answering telephones/electronic mail, scheduling meetings, compiling and analyzing data and statistics, and creating and reproducing program reports and summaries for a variety of constituents. Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail. Plan meetings and take detailed minutes. Plan and coordinate Department-related events. Managing calendars for your immediate supervisor or manager and assigned staff. Provide administrative support to senior leaders, including generating emails, correspondence memos, letters, and forms. Generate reports and create presentations. Assist with payroll-related functions. Manage the hiring process for candidates. Maintain filing system, contact database, and employee list. Provide general support to visitors. Liaise with senior managers to handle requests and queries. Assisting in resolving any administrative problems. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information. In case of an emergency or crisis situation (hurricane, flood, etc.) position is required to respond/perform emergency and recovery duties as assigned by the County Manager or designee. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 2-3 years of administrative and/or customer service experience is required Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record High School Diploma or GED equivalent Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) is required Associate Degree in business administration or closely-related field (Preferred) Two years of administrative experience, including experience maintaining data and generating reports. Any combination of education and experience may be substituted, so long as it provides the desired skills, knowledge and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Supplemental Information:

Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

Requires exceptional typing abilities, attention to detail, strong orientation towards tasks, and the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication are essential for success in this role.

Must be able to accurately exchange information in these situations. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with the Healthcare Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Employees may be required to perform duties, including the employee's normal work function or other emergency support functions as deemed necessary by the County, as assigned before, during, and after hazardous weather or state of local emergency.
