Mobile Quality Assurance Analyst

Title: Mobile/Web QA Location: Dallas, TX or Miramar, FL Duration: Contract to hire Compensation: 50-60/hr Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US Job Description: The Quality Assurance Analyst job is responsible for the overall quality of systems and technology that are released into the production environment. The scope of this role includes the comprehensive aspects of quality including testing documentation,planning and execution of testing, testing validation, and obtaining approval using both manual processes and automated tools that are available in the environment.In their role, Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring the product meets business requirements and overall business objectivesby tracking and reporting quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status, as well asdocumenting problems and communicating the issue to development staff to assist in their resolution Duties and Responsibilities: Develop test plans, including test conditions and expected results, test cases, and test scripts. Identify test data requirements and work with other teams as needed to create and maintain test data. Execute testing, including documentation of test results and defects. Assist in defect troubleshooting and resolution Assist in the implementation and maintenance of software testing tools. Create, run, and maintain reports to measure and track testing metrics. Participate in testing automation, including script development and maintenance. Stay up-to-date on software application testing tools and best practices? Understand various programming languages (ABAP, Java, C#, Perl, Python, etc.) Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (computer science, information systems, business administration or other industry related curriculum) or combinationof education and equivalent experience. Strong team player with willingness to collaborate. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong capability to execute tasks with quality Proficient oral and written communication skills. Good time management skills (i.e. works efficiently). Strong attention to detail .Strong decision-making skills.Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. General understanding of the software applications under area of responsibility for testing. Experience writing test scripts for software testing. Experience running and documenting outcomes of test scripts Experience writing and maintaining automation test cases. Experience in test-driven design and building automated quality gates in development pipeline. Ability to demonstrate Agile delivery values , Everyone focused on the work in the sprint and the goal of the scrum team.
