As a Co-op or Intern you will be presented the tools to further your professional development, apply your schooling to real-world projects, and gain hands-on experience while completing your undergrad degree.<br> <br>Co-op: An 8-month long opportunity, Co-op positions are a full-time employment experience. Co-ops are fully immersed into the worlds of corporate and production industry as a full-time team member.<br> <br>Internship: A semester long opportunity, Internships positions are a part-time employment experience. With the opportunity to extend multiple semesters, Interns tap into the foundations of our corporate and production industries.<br> <br>Co-op and Intern opportunities span across 18 of Bobcat's different functions.<br> <br> <b> <b>Role & Responsibility</b></b> <br> <br>Generalist:<br> <ul> <li>Assist in the recruitment and selection process for full-time employees</li> <li>Plan and coordinate employee social activities</li> <li>Create communications for various events and news</li> <li>Organize the company charitable giving process</li> <li>Assist in STEM and community related initiatives</li> <li>Support employees with HR related questions</li></ul> <br>Talent Acquisition:<ul> <li>Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process of student employees</li> <li>Use applicant tracking systems to manage candidates</li> <li>Manage the tuition and relocation reimbursement process for students</li> <li>Plan and coordinate student activities</li> <li>Create communications for various events</li> <li>Support employees with HR related questions</li></ul> <br>Talent Management:<br> <ul> <li>Develop and Implement e-Learning Marketing plan with goal of improving utilization</li> <li>Marketing and management of internal instructor led training courses</li> <li>Assist Training Manager in the rollout and deployment of learning and development programs for employees across the organization</li> <li>Assist in the deployment of Doosan's employee engagement surveys, including action plan recording & progress updates</li> <li>Conduct reverse exit interview process from employee survey</li> <li>Assist in the tracking, measuring and communication of change initiatives</li> <li>Assist in the collection & tracking of strategic workforce planning information</li></ul> <br>Shared Service:<br> <ul> <li>Provide quality and timely customer service of employee questions </li> <li>Assist in determining employee eligibility for Leave of Absences and provide required documentation for review</li> <li>Collaborate with appropriate management personnel (i.e., HR Partner, Manager, etc.) as necessary in designating leaves</li> <li>Maintain tracking of employee leave information and provide status updates as necessary. Coordinate return to work and accommodation requests</li> <li>Audit payroll calculation results, benefits deductions and adjustments for off-cycle/on-cycle payroll processes </li> <li>Maintain highly confidential employee Personal Health Information and files </li> <li>Develop and maintain user procedures, process flows, guidelines and documentation </li> <li>Ensures all processes are compliant with rules set forth by regulatory agencies</li></ul> <br> <b> <b>Job Requirement</b></b> <br> <br> <ul> <li>Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing seeking a degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field</li> <li>Excellent communications skills and high level of motivation</li> <li>Be able to commit to Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op (8-months) or internship (4-months)</li> <li>Travel Required: &lt; 10%</li></ul>#WayUp<img src="https://counter.adcourier.com/YmJnZW5lcmljLjk5OTMwLjEyNTI0QGNsYXJrZXF1aXBtZW50Y29tcC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif">
